Brrrrriiiiinnnng!
Keith had always been proud of his trusty cellphone. While everyone else had raved about the new ringtones from whatever source, he'd been just fine not changing it - which meant that whenever someone called, it made a ringing sound.
Brrrrriiiiinnnng!
Unfortunately, the ringing sound wasn't quite enough to wake him from a nap on a nice Saturday afternoon. He was reclined on the couch, snoring lightly, dreaming he was swimming in a pool filled with chocolate. It was warm, sticky, and just a little bitter. Keith waved to a woman standing on the sidelines, who was clad in a gold bikini and holding up a sign that proudly disp

Tap. Tap. Tap.
Luke glanced cautiously in the direction of his roommate, sweeping some brown hair out of his eyes. Keith was looking towards the obnoxiously small window, his shoe-clad foot rapping angrily on the hardwood floor. Reminding himself to throw a carpet in Keith's favorite standing spot, Luke turned back to his number-crunching.
Anxiously, he looked up again, searching his friend's face. Something was bothering Keith. But what? Luke pursed his lips, fidgeting with his reading glasses.
"What's wrong?" he finally asked, breaking the awkward silence.
Keith shrugged, saying something that sounded like "Mumble mumble belt mumble mum
It happened again. It's his fault for being the sloppy, inconsiderate pig he is.
"What is this?" I questioned him firmly while pointing at the pile of clothes on the floor. He looked up from the top drawer of the tall dresser where he was trying to find his grey and black striped shirt.
"What?" He asked, not even looking at the problem that was laying on the floor. "That? Oh come on, we went over this last week. I can't help it."
"You can't help it? That's not true at all. The hamper is close by, you know, you could just throw it in there instead of on the floor!" I raised my voice to catch his absent-minded attention. He continued to scav
Luke tapped the #2 pencil against the desk. His focus had been obstructed by a certain thought etched into his mind. He just couldn't stop thinking of a certain blonde with ocean-blue eyes. He sighed and ran his hand through his unkempt hair.
"What'cha doin'?"
Luke jumped in his seat and swung his head around. It was only the cheerful face of Keith in his business.
"God, don't do that. You scared the hell out of me," Luke panted with his hand over his chest, "But, I'm glad to see you back home."
The blond grinned broadly, "I'm glad to see you too!" He bent over and wrapped his arms around Luke's neck in a tight hug, causing the younger ma
Luke sat alone under the tree, fervently reading the book he'd checked out from the library a week before. It was an action-packed adventure that kept him soaked into the pages like water in a sponge.
A light breeze rustled the tree's branches, but it wasn't enough to disturb Luke's involved mind. He didn't notice that a sizable, green leaf had taken a respite on his head.
But he did feel the hand of another person swipe the lounging leaf from its place. Luke looked up to see his roommate standing over him, leaf in hand.
"How's that book going?" He said twirling the stem of the leaf between his index finger and thumb with amusement.
"It's
